G-Drive Racing and TDS Racing disqualified from 24 Hours of Le Mans

Following post-race technical scrutineering at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the No.26 G-Drive Racing ORECA 07 Gibson and the No.28 TDS Racing ORECA 07 Gibson have both been disqualified for non-compliance of a part in the fuel restrictor.

Following post-race technical scrutineering at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the No.26 G-Drive Racing ORECA 07 Gibson (Rusinov-Pizzitola-Vergne) and the No.28 TDS Racing ORECA 07 Gibson (Perrodo-Vaxivière-Duval) have both been disqualified for non-compliance of a part in the fuel restrictor.

Stewards’ Decision No.74 – G-Drive Racing; Stewards Decision No.75 – TDS Racing: Breach of Appendix A of the Technical Regulations for 2018 for LMP2; Breach of Article 2.1.1 of the Technical Regulations for 2018 for LMP2; Breach of Article 12.1.1 of the International Sporting Code. 

The competitor intends to appeal the decision and has 96 hours in which to confirm his intent, so the results of the 24 Hours of Le Mans therefore remain provisional.
