Missing the excitement of the WEC 6 Hours of Spa? Want to see it again?

The iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit played host to a thrilling second round of the FIA World Endurance Championship, and the battles and action between the 34 cars didn’t disappoint the many thousands of fans who were present at the track.  Audi Sport Team Joest's Loic Duval, Lucas di Grassi and Oliver Jarvis were winners after a hard-fought, roller-coaster six hours of action, with Davide Rigon and Sam Bird of Ferrari's AF Corse team taking a second consecutive, bitter-sweet victory in the LMGTE class.

If you want to experience the emotions and highlights of the race all over again, there are now several ways in which you can do this as a TV viewer.

EUROPE

Motors TV will show the 52’ highlights programme five times between 9-16 May across Europe, with RTL showing free to air highlights to 55 million homes across the German/Austrian/Swiss area on 14 May between 13h00-13h45.

BELGIUM

TV viewers can re-live the key moments of the race on RTBF the evening after the race, while news edits will be shown the week after the race and during the popular Automobile programme.  Additionally, for the Flemish region of Belgium, Sport 40 will show a news feature in its Auto Sport 40 programme at 19h00 on 12 May.

FRANCE

L’Equipe 21will show a re-run of race highlights, free-to-air, on 9 May with the full 52’ highlights programme being broadcast on 11 May at 13h00.  French TV viewers of Motors TV will be able to profit from 9 showings of the full official WEC highlights programme between 8-13 May. 

GERMANY

Millions of Germany’s TV viewers will be able to see free to air news edits on the SR channel (Saarländischer Rundfunk) the day after the race on the Sportarena programme. 

NETHERLANDS

RTL 7 will show highlights in the weeks before Le Mans, while Ziggo Sport will show the 52’ highlights programme on 11 May.

UK

Motors TVin the UK will show the full highlights programme up to five times between 9-29 May, whileBT Sportand Quest will also broadcast the 52’ highlights in the days following the race.  Sky Sports News will broadcast news edits and, a new addition to the distribution list is one of the UK’s major free-to-air channels – Channel 4 – which will show the highlights at a time to be confirmed (check local listings for more information).

THE AMERICAS

The FOX network’s increased commitment to the WEC this year includes not only live coverage of the race in Belgium but also a highlights package on FOX Latin America on 15 May.   

MIDDLE EAST AND AFRICA

BEIN SPORTSwill show highlights of the WEC 6 Hours of Spa Francorchamps throughout its network and region, while Super Sport will show the 52’ programme pan-Africa to 2 million homes.

ASIA AND AUSTRALASIA

Following Eurosport and FOX Sports’ coverage of the race across the Pan-Asian region, they will broadcast the 52’ highlights, at a time to be confirmed.   

JAPAN

J-Sports will show replays of the race 10 times between 10-31 May on both its J-Sports 1 and J-Sports 3 channels, plus BS Fuji will also take the highlights package for its 8 million homes.   BS Fuji will also be taking the 52’ show for broadcast.

CHINA

LeTV is showing highlights of the race at Spa following the race, with CCTV 5 also showing news edits from 9 May on its magazine show Autotimes.

AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND

Having shown the full race live onFOX Sports 5, the channelwill broadcast highlights on 11 and 13 May (AEST), while free-to-air channel SBS will show full highlights on 22 May.  In New Zealand viewers can follow the exploits of their countryman and all the other drivers on TV3 via a highlights show on 15 May.

FIA WEC APP

The2016 version of theFIA WEC APP will now feature replays of the race from just hours after the chequered flag for up to three weeks.  You can see all your favourite moments, including on board shots and exclusive content on the App, available from the Apple Store or Google Play Store.
