Neel Jani, No. 12 Rebellion Racing LMP1 Lola-Toyota: “We had such a good 2012 season, it will definitely be hard to improve on it. This year there are two Toyotas and two Audis so from that point of view we have already lost a position which means our aim has to be P5 in a race. With a bit of luck, and depending on what happens, we can move forward. It will be hard to re-do what we had so our main target is to beat Strakka.
“The 12 Hours of Sebring was a good warm up for the FIA WEC season because we had to re-calibrate everything: the drivers, the mechanics, engineers and so on. We really had a faultless race and were very efficient throughout it; Muscle Milk was quicker than us but it was a good test and training for the WEC and we finished third behind the two Audis. We have the great advantage of continuity. We know the car inside out and although there have been small pieces of evolution on it, the team knows the car very well, we drivers know the mechanics and the engineers know us which is all good for the team.”
