The weight of cars may be checked at the end of practice sessions and after the end of the race.
Once the competitor has been notified that the car has been weighed, no solid, liquid or gaseous substance or material may be added or removed. Only officials are authorised inside the weighing area: no intervention is allowed there except under the supervision of the officials.
At the end of practice and the race, cars inside Parc Fermé and selected for checking will be weighed without the driver and without fuel on board.
If the weight is not in conformity at the end of practice: cancellation of lap times;
If the weight is not in conformity at the end of the race: exclusion.
