Doriane Pin confirmed for Iron Dames LMGT3 entry

Iron Lynx has firmed up its LMGT3 driver line-up for its Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo 2 cars that will compete in this year’s FIA WEC.

Continuing in the No. 85 Iron Dames car will be Sarah Bovy and Michelle Gatting. Replacing Rahel Frey for the 2024 season, however, will be France’s Doriane Pin.

After a year of racing in LMP2, Mercedes-AMG junior Pin will move to the LMGT3 class in 2024. The 20-year-old, who took a podium last year’s season-opener, will race in WEC alongside her F1 Academy programme.

Previously announced for the No. 60 car was Claudio Schiavoni. He will be joined by Matteo Cressoni for his fourth season in WEC with the team. The pair have already raced together in 2024 in the Daytona 24 Hours.

Alongside the pair will be Lamborghini Squadra Corse factory driver Franck Perera for his WEC debut. Perera is already familiar with the team, having raced at the Daytona 24 Hours, Sebring 12 Hours and Petit Le Mans last year as well as at Daytona this year.
