Today is race day at Silverstone for the opening round of the 2014 FIA World Endurance Championship. This morning the pitlane was crowded with excited fans as they were able to get close to the drivers and grab an autograph or two.
The 30 minute pitwalk session, which is included in the general admission ticket, saw thousands of fans mingling with the teams and drivers and were able to get a closer look at the new 2014 cars including the Porsche 919, Audi R18 and Toyota TS040 that will battle it out for the Royal Automobile Club Tourist Trophy.
The 6 Hours of Silverstone begins at 12h00 (local)
