Daniel Ricciardo was an interested visitor to the FIA World Endurance Championship paddock this afternoon as he caught up with old friends Mark Webber and Brendon Hartley.
The Red Bull F1 star is spending time in Bahrain to oversee his karting team – Ricciardo Kart Racing, which is competing in the World Championships this weekend.
Ricciardo competed in two seasons of Formula One with Mark Webber and effectively took over his fellow Australian’s seat at Red Bull in 2014.
Wishing his old compatriot well for his last ever race after a stellar 24 year career, Ricciardo was a very interested observer on the grid immediately before the start.
