JOTA confirms Season 8 driver line-up

In just under a month the new WEC season will get underway with the official pre-season test, the Prologue, at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya (23-24 July).

Season 8 will see a total 33 entries across LMP1, LMP2, LMGTE Pro and LMGTE Am including four manufacturer entries. One of the first teams to have confirmed its driver line-up for the new season was the JOTA endurance squad with Pastor Maldonado, Roberto Gonzalez and Anthony Davidson all taking to the wheel.

Maldonado, Gonzales and Davidson already have plenty of experience as team-mates having raced together at American team DragonSpeed throughout the Super Season, finishing fourth in the overall LMP2 standings.  The trio will make the switch to British-based team JOTA ready to take on Season 8 in the LMP2 Oreca-Gibson car.

General entry for the Prologue is free, but visitors will need to download their ticket from the ticketing website HERE. There will be pit walks organised for fans on both days.
