Every element has been redesigned from the ground up to enhance the viewing experience for hardcore motorsport fans and new audiences alike.

The sidebar has benefitted from a complete overhaul for greater clarity and impact – delivering real-time race data in a streamlined, distraction-free format that balances functionality with aesthetic appeal.

Qualifying sessions are now easier to follow, including a clearly-defined Hyperpole elimination zone, presented in a brighter, bolder display that immediately draws the eye while intensifying the drama and excitement. In a new feature, individual sector times, pit-stops and out-laps are all represented in the sidebar – enabling viewers to clearly track a car’s progress, with colour-coding for improvements during the lap.

In-race, the sidebar and accompanying graphics allow for clearly-signposted information, with portions of the screen allotted to different types of data, from race control updates and radio messages to driver and team comparisons and circuit maps.

Manufacturers, drivers, partners, cars and teams all enjoy greatly increased presence, with branded colours, big logos and individually-designed car number artwork reflecting those on the actual cars. Whether timing graphics, team identifiers, car and driver IDs or leaderboards, this tailored approach enhances brand differentiation across all live broadcasts and highlights shows, increasing viewer connection to their favourite marque, driver or team.

Circuit presentations, meanwhile, have received a cinematic transformation, as sweeping CGI imagery combines with sleek data overlays to immerse fans in the atmosphere before the race even begins.

As for the title sequence – it’s been entirely reinvented. High-octane visuals, dynamic motion graphics and a striking new identity declare one thing loud and clear: This is the future of endurance racing.

With a unified visual language across all broadcast elements, this fresh look modernises the FIA WEC viewing experience – injecting it with new energy, sharper clarity and refined sophistication.

This isn’t just a redesign. It’s a complete revolution.

“Our mission was to find creative ways to rationalise and expand our race graphics,” explains FIA WEC Communication and Marketing Director, Marius Louvet. “The racing in the championship is arguably the best it has ever been, and we were conscious we needed to update and enhance the viewing experience by providing as much information as possible to truly tell the story of the season.

“The FIA World Endurance Championship is in the midst of a real golden era right now, with more manufacturer involvement and support than ever before. We are – quite rightly – constantly challenged by all of our competitors and fans to ensure that what we are offering is cutting-edge in every area, and our new broadcast graphics ensure a premium and enriched experience for all involved. We hope everybody will enjoy them!”

“We welcome the introduction of the FIA World Endurance Championship’s new broadcast graphics package,” added Stéphane Andriolo, 24 Hours of Le Mans Clients and Events Director. “At the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, we pride ourselves on never standing still, and what FIA WEC has produced with this new visual identity is a clear sign of the championship’s commitment to continuously innovate in this fast-paced environment we inhabit.

“Strategy is key in endurance races – particularly one as long and complicated as the 24 Hours of Le Mans – but keeping track of who is doing what and when can be tricky to follow without detailed data and information. So many different elements come into play, and these state-of-the-art new graphics will shine a spotlight on all of the factors so essential to success.”
