Drivers donate money-can’t-buy memorabilia for Fuji charity auction

FIA World Endurance Championship drivers and teams have donated generously towards a charity auction taking place at Fuji Speedway this weekend (26-28 September), with fans able to bid for exclusive, autographed money-can’t-buy memorabilia.

The forthcoming 6 Hours of Fuji in Japan not only marks the penultimate round of the 2025 FIA WEC campaign, but also the milestone 100th event in the series’ history. The auction forms part of the fan-related activations on-site, and will be held in two sessions on the Fan Zone main stage – at 12:00 local time today and again from 14:30-16:00 on Sunday. 

The initiative is intended to raise funds in support of road safety organisation, the Child Welfare Fund for Traffic Accident Orphans and Dependents, assisting children affected by traffic accidents. It is open to all on-site spectators. 

The following items will be included:

  • Race suits from TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Hypercar drivers Kamui Kobayashi and Ryō Hirakawa
  • Four Porsche Motorsport Raceborn mini helmets and wristbands, Porsche bags (cotton) and Porsche 963 special-edition caps 
  • Racing boots and gloves from Team WRT LMGT3 star and multiple MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi
  • Race-worn suits from Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA Hypercar drivers Jenson Button and Will Stevens
  • Four polo shirts signed by drivers from both the #38 and #12 Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA cars
  • Signed race suit belonging to new LMGT3 race-winner and home hero Marino Sato 
  • A bespoke piece of art made out of sticker scraps, celebrating the victory of the #87 Akkodis ASP Team Lexus in São Paulo
  • Race suits from Iron Dames drivers Michelle Gatting and Rahel Frey
  • Ford merchandise and two ex-Dennis Olsen race suits from Proton Competition
