New TV deal in Brazil for WEC Season 8

The FIA World Endurance Championship will be broadcast on Brazilian TV via BandSports – the sports channel of the Bandeirantes Group – for Season 8.

This exciting news comes ahead of the WEC’s return to South America in 2020 for the 6 Hours of São Paulo (30 January - 1 February).  

BandSports will televise the Brazilian race in full, while free-to-air channel Band will also cover the event including the race start, hourly updates and podium celebrations. The channel will also broadcast coverage of the other seven WEC races starting from Silverstone which gets underway in just over two weeks’ time.

Furthermore, Bandeirantes Group will cover WEC Season 8 in its news programmes and also via its radio channels: Rádio Trânsito, Rádio Bandeirantes and Rádio BandNews.
