24: The entire LM P1 class is fitted with Michelin tyres, so Michelin is sure to pull off a 24th victory this year.
30: The number of years since Toyota first entered the race.
31: Germany has won the race the most times, thanks to Audi, BMW, Porsche and Mercedes.
32: On Sunday 14 June, we shall undoubtedly see the 32nd victory for a closed cockpit car. But, we still have a long way to go to catch up with the open cockpits (51 victories).
40: Forty years ago, the first Nissan competed in the Le Mans 24 Hours, under the name of Datsun.
40: Toyota’s first participation in the Le Mans 24 Hours was 40 years ago, when the constructor provided the engine for the Sigma.
43: The combined number of victories for British drivers (a record) - 32 drivers in all.
50: Ferrari clinched its last overall win at Le Mans 50 years ago.
50: The number of podiums for Porsche since the race began. 16 victories, 17 second places and 17 third places.
52: On Sunday 14 June, we shall see the 52nd victory for a mid-engine car. Victories from 1963 to 1978 and 1980 to 2014
56: The number of cars taking part this year.
64: With 64 races in a row, Porsche is the most experienced marque at Le Mans. That represents 770 cars in all!
83: This year marks the 83rd running of the Le Mans 24 Hours.
90: The first Le Mans-style start was 90 years ago. The procedure was abandoned in 1970.
328: The number of drivers who have mounted the podium at least once. Emmanuele Pirro has the record for claiming a place on the podium nine times in a row.
339.1: The maximum speed reached by the n°2 Audi R18 e-tron quattro. This speed was recorded before the first chicane on the Mulsanne straight.
397: The number of laps completed by Bernhard, Dumas and Rockenfeller in their Audi R15 TDI+ at the 2010 Le Mans 24 Hours. A total of 5,410.713 kilometres. That’s a record on the current circuit.
1,678: The number of podiums for Porsche since the race began.
4,002: The number of cars that have run the Le Mans 24 Hours since 1923, not including this year.
263,300: The number of spectators at the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2014. Will we break the record again this year?
