Audi Sport Team Joest
Audi completed its preparations for the most important endurance race of the year with a test in France that was largely held in rain. Two weeks before the Le Mans 24 Hours, Audi Sport Team Joest set up the long-tail version of the Audi R18 e-tron quattro for the high-speed track on the eight-hour test day.
On a mostly wet Sunday at La Sarthe, the team of the eleven-time Le Mans winner concentrated on testing various aerodynamic set-up versions of the Audi R18 e-tron quattro. In addition, the engineers experimented with different tire pressures in order to analyse the performance of the rain tires on a single lap and across longer distances. When showers set in, the team decided to end the morning’s practice session early. The track conditions were too inconsistent, as Loïc Duval came to find out too in an off-track excursion in the Tertre Rouge corner toward the end of the first half of the day.

Toyota Racing
TOYOTA Racing today completed a productive test at the Circuit de la Sarthe ahead of the 90th anniversary edition of the Le Mans 24 Hours (22-23 June).
Two 2013-specification TS030 HYBRID cars joined the official test day, where a full field took the only chance of the year to prepare on the circuit prior to the race week.
With a 24-hour race approaching, the team concentrated on long runs, with both cars completing more than 80 laps each, producing a combined total of 2,276km running for the two TS030 HYBRIDs.

Rebellion Racing
The Le Mans 24 Hours Test Day was an important date on the REBELLION Racing 2013 calendar.
On Saturday, the Swiss team confirmed their involvement in the 2014 FIA World Endurance Championship as a constructor and that a new car, the REBELLION R-One, is under development in partnership with ORECA.
Today was the only opportunity to test on the unique Le Mans 24 Hours circuit, the test day was of paramount importance ahead of the race in two weeks.
The wet weather in Le Mans during the day did not allow the cars and drivers to express their full potential, but the team is satisfied with the work completed during the day.

Strakka Racing
Strakka Racing’s Nick Leventis (London), Danny Watts (Buckingham) and Jonny Kane (Thame) successfully completed a mostly wet official test session for the Le Mans 24 Hour race (22-23 June), posting 63 trouble-free laps in their Union Flag flying LMP1 Honda Performance Development ARX-03c.
With the majority of the 8.468 mile (13.629km) Circuit de la Sarthe used by normal traffic since last year’s race, the grime from everyday lorry and car use, combined with often heavy rain, reduced grip levels significantly, contributing to a number of accidents and incidents.
