6 Hrs COTA : What's on today!
19/09/2014

Good morning from day two of the action from Circuit of The Americas.  Following overnight heavy rain and a brief shower this morning, the skies are now clearer and further action will be beginning on track in two hours for Lone Star Le Mans.

A one-hour free practice session begins at 10h20 this morning, with teams and drivers using the time available to finalise their preparations for both the afternoon’s qualifying and the 6 Hours of Circuit of The Americas tomorrow.  With mixed track conditions so far, it will be a critical time to make decisions about tyres, aerodynamic and suspension settings – what will suit the forecasted weather best?

Qualifying for the FIA World Endurance Championship’s fourth round begins at 18h00 local (CT) tonight for the LMGTE Pro and Am categories.  After their 25-minute session, the LMP1 and LMP2 cars take to the track to decide who will start the Lone Star Le Mans race into the night from pole position.
