To the FIA World Endurance Championship, our fans are just as important as our competitors – and the whole family is welcome. At this weekend’s 6 Hours of Sao Paulo at the Autodromo Carlos Pace, there will be a feast of entertainment for fans to enjoy both on and off the track on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
There is a free open paddock, a free pit walk on Sunday, free grandstand seating and free entertainment – something for all the family, young and old. In the fan entertainment area below the paddock, open from 09:00h – 19:00 h each day, there will be children’s entertainment, funfair rides, cars to be driven and a Disney Movies Cinema which will show popular films such as Cars 2, Phineas and Ferb, and Pirates of the Caribbean.
There is also a display area with a large FIA WEC exhibition – lots of photos, goodies, simulators and merchandising to be had, plus displays from Audi (cars), Honda and Kawasaki Fittipaldi (motorcycles), Claro (Mobiles/TV), RC Modelismo (mini airplanes and models) and much, much more. Among the photographs on display in the FIA WEC area is one of all the Brazilian drivers who have driven at Le Mans, together with their cars.
On the starting grid for Sunday’s 6 Hours of Sao Paulo, the beat of the drums will echo the rising beats of drivers’ hearts as they prepare to take the start of the race, and there will be music to entertain everyone.
