  • Reigning champion Bernhard sets 1m40.318s fastest lap as No.1 Porsche 919 Hybrid tops the timing screens in final Free Practice session before qualifying
  • Bernhard’s time is 0.4s faster than No.8 Audi R18 in second position
  • Oliver Jarvis stops No.8 Audi R18 in final moments of session with apparent mechanical problem
  • No.5 Toyota TS 050 HYBRID makes it three manufacturers in top three places.
  • Andre Lotterer's best time of 1m41.000 good enough for fourth position ahead of No.2 title chasing Porsche 919 Hybrid
  • Top six rounded out by No.6 Toyota. Kamui Kobayashi suffers early session spin but re-joins session
  • ByKolles lead most of session but Rebellion R-One-AER sets a 1m48.388 in final phase of session to lead by 1.9 seconds

  • No.36 Signatech Alpine place second ahead of stablemates No.35 Baxi DC Alpine by just 0.1s
  • No.44 Manor Oreca-Nissan stops at T4 in last ten minutes with technical problem but eventually re-joins track
  • Ferrari fightback starts as Gianmaria Bruni is fastest in No.51 AF Corse Ferrari 488GTE
  • No.97 Aston Martin second and No.66 Ford GT third as three manufacturers fill out top three in 60-minute morning session

 

  • AF Corse Ferrari driven by Emmanuel Collard quickest in LMGTE Am class ahead of No.86 Gulf Porsche. Ben Barker sets time for British team
  • No.98 Aston Martin third as they plan for qualifying where they must stop No.83 Ferrari getting pole to take title battle in to the race

Qualifying scheduled for 17.00-17.20 (LMGTE classes) and 17.30-17.50 (LMP1/LMP2) local time.
