TOYOTA GAZOO Racing achieved a one-two finish in the Bapco Energies 8 Hours of Bahrain today (8 November), while Ferrari claimed the FIA Hypercar World Endurance Manufacturers’ Championship and the #51 crew of James Calado, Antonio Giovinazzi and Alessandro Pier Guidi scooped the FIA Hypercar World Endurance Championship Drivers’ crown.
The #7 Toyota GR010 Hybrid Hypercar dominated the final race of the season as Nyck de Vries, Kamui Kobayashi and Mike Conway sped to the Japanese marque’s first victory of 2025 to ensure five different brands tasted a race win over the course of the eight-round campaign.
The #92 Manthey 1st Phorm crew of Richard Lietz, Riccardo Pera and Ryan Hardwick celebrated Manthey’s second title triumph in as many years by finishing fourth in the LMGT3 class, in which #87 Akkodis ASP Team Lexus trio José María López, Petru Umbrărescu and Clemens Schmid claimed their second victory of the season following their maiden success at Interlagos in July.
