Alex Lynn and Eduardo Barrichello take poles for Sunday's 6 Hours of Fuji………
Alex Lynn claimed pole position for the 2025 6 Hours of Fuji after securing his and Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA’s third top spot of the season and his second in succession at Fuji Speedway.
A lap of 1m28.236s in the Hyperpole session by Lynn was good enough for pole by a formidable 0.439s from the sister Cadillac driven by Earl Bamber.
Marco Sørensen topped the times in the initial qualifying session with a lap of 1m28.935s, which was just 0.054s ahead of the #93 Team Peugeot TotalEnergies 9X8.
The LMGT3 category saw the top spot captured by Racing Spirit of Léman Aston Martin driver Eduardo Barrichello, who reprised his Interlagos heroics by setting the pole time of 1m39.981s. That effort was a tiny 0.030s ahead of the #95 United Autosports McLaren.
The earlier qualifying session to select the ten cars that went through to Hyperpole was headed by James Cottingham, who had a clear 0.4s margin over the sister McLaren driven by Darren Leung.
