The entry list has been released for next weekend’s Lone Star Le Mans at Texas’ Circuit of The Americas – round five of the 2026 FIA World Endurance Championship campaign on 4-6 September.
Following the series’ annual summer break, the action will resume in Austin for the second overseas event of the season, with the 5.513km, 20-turn track having produced some memorable moments over the course of FIA WEC’s previous eight visits.
Six of the current Hypercar stars are former winners at COTA. Team Peugeot TotalEnergies’ Loïc Duval prevailed in the inaugural edition of the race back in 2013 – on his way to clinching the World Championship crown with Audi – while TOYOTA RACING’s Brendon Hartley went undefeated for three consecutive years from 2015 to 2017 at Porsche.
AF Corse drivers Robert Kubica and Yifei Ye secured success for Ferrari in 2024, Genesis Magma Racing team leader André Lotterer triumphed in 2014 with Audi and current Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA duo Earl Bamber and Norman Nato have both similarly ascended the top step of the podium in the Lone Star State.
Nato and Will Stevens will be partnered for the upcoming event by two-time IMSA champion, Ricky Taylor in the #12 V-Series.R, while sister GM brand Corvette sees Nicky Catsburg return to the #33 TF Sport Z06 alongside Jonny Edgar and Ben Keating in LMGT3, having missed the previous round due to a clashing commitment.
In the same vein, Eduardo Barrichello is back in Heart of Racing Team’s #23 Aston Martin Vantage, following his absence last time out in São Paulo.
