Ferrari announces full line ups for Le Mans

AF Corse and Ferrari have announced the full driver line ups for the three Ferrari 488 GTEs entered by the Italian team for this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans, round two of the FIA WEC Super Season.

GT World Champions James Calado and Alessandro Pier Guidi will be joined by Daniel Serra behind the wheel of the No.51 488 GTE. The Brazilian took pole position in the GTD class at the recent 24 Hours of Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring in the Spirit of Race 488 GT3.

In the sister factory entry, No.71, Sam Bird, Davide Rigon and Miguel Molina will form a trio in a repeat of last year.

An additional entry for AF Corse and Ferrari will be No.52 – for the French endurance marathon only – and this 488 GTE will be crewed by official factory drivers Toni Vilander, a two-time winner at Le Mans and 2014 LMGTE Champion, and Antonio Giovinazzi.  Brazil’s Luis Felipe (Pipo) Derani, fresh from victory at the 12 Hours of Sebring 2018, will share the car with them.
