
This weekend’s Bapco 6 Hours of Bahrain, taking place at the impressive Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir between 17-19 November, headlines an all-encompassing festival of motorsport. There is something for everyone within the FIA World Endurance Championship, with its drivers’ championship battles due to come to a thrilling conclusion, and something for all ages within the first Bahrain Motorsport Festival.
There will be a special fan area located behind the main grandstand on the front straight, plus a variety of attractions to suit families and visitors of all ages including the chance to see and greet all the drivers at a special autograph session.
Meet the Drivers
On Saturday at 13:50 fans will have an opportunity to get an autograph, grab a ‘selfie’ or just shake hands with their favourite drivers during a 30 minute autograph session – it’s all part of the show. You will have to be quick though to get all of them!
WEC Fan Area
Distribution of goodies, merchandise and a photo booth to get a great souvenir of you and your friends’ or family’s visit. There will also be boxing and roller skating demonstrations…don’t miss a great opportunity to see these skills first hand in the Fan Area up to three times a day.
Racing simulators
Do you think you are the next Mark Webber, Sébastien Buemi or Khaled Al Qubaisi? Now you can see how you match up against them on a lap of Bahrain on a racing simulator. Many of today’s drivers use simulators to prepare for new tracks, or even each round, and now you can put yourself in their shoes!
Stunt Show and Drift Show
Come and be amazed at the noise, talent and bravery of the motorcycle stunt riders and the Red Bull drift king. Shows will take place during the day today and tomorrow.
Children’s Stage Show
Families and fans of all ages are welcome at WEC events, and in Bahrain there will be a special Broadway spectacular stage show to entertain them. This will take place in the Fan Area to the rear of the main grandstand six times a day between 11 am and 8:30 pm.
Concerts
Don’t miss the sights and sounds of Moroccan singer-songwriter Hatim Ammor, American pop star Dev and Algerian icon Khaled who will all be taking to the stage for separate live performances on each evening of the Bahrain Motorsport Festival taking place this weekend.
Thursday: Hatim Ammor show – 9:30PM

6 Hours of Bahrain
The Bapco 6 Hours of Bahrain will take place from 17-19 November. Starting at 16h00, the race in the Middle East will be the second 6-hour event on the WEC calendar that will finish under the stars following Lone Star Le Mans, and the atmosphere within the impressive Bahrain International Circuit will be electric as champions are crowned, scores are settled and races are won.
The weekend is an action-packed feast of racing which includes single-seater action from the Indian MRF Challenge series and the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East.
