Good morning/Bom Dia! It’s race day at Interlagos and the 6 Hours of Sao Paulo, the final round of the FIA World Endurance Championship promises to be exciting, vibrant and beautifully sunny.
Brazilian race fans are already pouring into the Autodrómo José Carlos Pace and at 10h30 they will have an opportunity to take part in a pit walk to get closer to their heroes and to see the incredibly sophisticated LMP1 cars, the elegant and luxurious lines of the GTE cars from Aston Martin, Ferrari and Porsche, and to witness the LMP2 cars which will take part in a pulsating championship battle for the title in today’s season finale.
The 26 cars will take to the grid for the start of the 6-hour race at 13h00 local (15h00 GMT) racing to decide not only the winner of this eighth round of 2014, but more importantly who will be the World Endurance Manufacturers Champion, the World GT Manufacturers Champion and who will take the LMP2 crown for both teams and drivers. Toyota v Audi, Ferrari v Porsche, G-Drive Racing v SMP Racing…it’s going to be intense!
