There is nowhere like Amercia to pump up the razzamatazz and ensure a heady atmosphere of partying and fun family entertainment. The show biz element of COTA comes to life for the fourth visit of the WEC and one of the highlights of the sporting year in Austin.
The special fan area which will be located between Turn 15 and Turn 19 close to the main entrance and will feature a variety of attractions to suit families and all ages of visitor.
Racing simulators, a special Tequila Patron activation with Margaritas bars will ensure a convivial atmosphere well in to the Texan night.
WEC Fan Area
Distribution of goodies, merchandise and a photo booth to get a great souvenir of you and your friends’ or family’s visit. There’s also a Batak machine to test your reactions against the clock – it’s fun and simple but challenging at the same time.
Manufacturers Area
See the latest models and some classic designs at the Manufacturers showcase where the biggest names in the Autoworld converge to display some glittering machinery and also to inform about the latest engineering trends.
Texas State Band
Want the atmosphere to have a special vibe? Then check out the awesome Texas State Band who will get in to tune on race day and lend an air of class and rhythm to the build-up of the big race.
Fireworks Show
Boom! It is not just the cars that make you jump. A superb fireworks display will light up the night and make the photographers gaze away from the track for just a few minutes!
Racing simulators
Do you think you are the next Ricky Taylor or Scott Sharp? Now you can see how you match up against them on a lap of COTA on a racing simulator. Did you know that racing professionally around the world today are several former gamers who have won national competitions and moved from sofa to cockpit as a result. It could be you!
Tequila Patrón activation
If you are lucky enough not to be driving home, then why not come along and taste some of Tequila Patrón’s amazing products. There’s a lot more than you would imagine, and some amazing cocktails to be tried. The company is based close by in Mexico and will have lots of different types of the potent beverage to sample!
