The third edition of the 6 Hours of Circuit of The Americas will take place on Saturday evening at the track near Austin in Texas. The race, which is the fifth round of the 2015 World Endurance Championship, is the first of the four events outside of Europe. All eyes will be on Porsche to see if they can secure their third win in a row or whether Audi or Toyota can begin the fight back in the second half of the season. Aston Martin are unbeaten in LMGTE at CoTA in the previous two visits and the British manufcaturer is hoping to repeat the double win they secured in Belgium in May.
Last year 54,000 fans travelled to Austin and an equally large crowd is expected on Saturday 19 September for the race that begins at 17h00 Central Time (CT) and runs into the night with the chequered flag being shown at 23h00.
