Ferrari out in force at Monza!

Ahead of round three of the FIA WEC, the 6 Hours of Monza, AF Corse organised for ten of the Ferrari 488 GTE Evos competing this weekend to take part in a photoshoot on the old iconic Monza banking.

The ten cars included the two AF Corse Ferrari 488 GTE Evos – the No. 51 and No. 52 cars, which currently top the LMGTE Pro standings following their one-two result in Portugal last month.  Alessandro Pier Guidi and James Calado lead the drivers’ standings, six points ahead of their nearest rivals.

There were a further eight Ferrari 488 GTE Evos in the collective car picture – all of which are competing in the highly-competitive LMGTE Am category.  After celebrating their first win in the WEC, Roberto Lacorte, Giorgio Sernagiotto, and Antonio Fuoco will defend Cetilar Racing’s top spot in the GTE Am standings this weekend.

Other teams in the image included Iron Lynx, plus newcomers Inception Racing and Rinaldi Racing.

FP1 is currently underway with FP2, FP3 and Qualifying to take place tomorrow. Sunday’s 6 hour race will take place at 12 midday local time.
