Nothing to lose for G-Drive Racing at 6 Hours of Bahrain

Nothing to lose for G-Drive Racing at 6 Hours of Bahrain
25/11/2013

While G-Drive Racing is currently fourth in the FIA Endurance Trophy for LMP2 Teams, its drivers have clinched third place in the LMP2 Drivers Trophy following three wins and one second place finish in the last four races.

After an exciting round in Shanghai, Roman Rusinov, John Martin and Mike Conway brought the No.26 ORECA 03 Nissan home to victory and the three drivers head into the last race of the 2013 FIA WEC with the same ambition.

“The goal is clear: win!”  explains Roman Rusinov.  “We have been anything but quiet these last four races and we will still be in”full attack” mode. Mathematically, the title is possible, but we have to be realistic; it will be very hard. We aren’t thinking about it. We simply know that we have nothing to lose and that anything can happen, like we saw at Shanghai with contact from another competitor.

"We have a good car, a good team and good driver line-up. If each does its job, then we have a good chance of getting an excellent result but competition is very strong in LM P2. There are really good competitors in the class and at each race we have to re-set and start the battle anew.”

Also entered by Delta-ADR, the No.25 ORECA 03, coming off three top 5 consecutive finishes, will be driven by Fabien Giroix, Robbie Kerr and Craig Dolby. The 6 Hours of Bahrain will mark the start of a long term partnership between the British team and Millennium Development.
