2019 Road to Le Mans attracts a 50-car grid

The curtain-raiser to this year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans, the 2019 Road to Le Mans, boasts an impressive 50-car grid made up of 17 GTs and 22 LMP3 cars including 34 cars from the Michelin Le Mans Cup, 12 cars from ELMS and participants from the WEC.

Road to Le Mans takes the form of two 55-minute races on the full 13,626km La Sarthe circuit.  The races will take place on Thursday 13 June and Saturday 15 June immediately before the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Super Final of the WEC Super Season.

French driver Thomas Laurent won Road to Le Mans in 2016 and has finished on the 24 Hours of Le Mans podium ever since – proof that Road to Le Mans is the perfect stepping stone for drivers preparing to take on the legendary 24 hour race.
