The FIA WEC paddock for the 6 Hours of Bahrain is buzzing this morning with VIP guests including Scuderia Ferrari Formula One driver, Fernando Alonso.
The Grand Prix driver is making his second visit to the FIA WEC following the 24 Hours of Le Mans when he was the official starter. He is making a private visit to Bahrain, ahead of next weekend's final round of the F1 championship in Abu Dhabi, but will no doubt be visiting lots of friends and also supporting the AF Corse Ferrari team in their GT Championship title fight.
Alonso said, "I am very happy to be here in Bahrain and see my old friends, especially Mark (Webber)."
