WEC Season 8 Ready for Race Action

The FIA World Endurance Championship will roar in to action this afternoon as a full grid of the world’s most spectacular sportscars get ready to thrill the crowd at Silverstone, UK.

Two days of on-track preparation have followed months of grounding behind the scenes to ensure that the WEC is even more vibrant and engaging

Over eight countries and four continents a total of 66 hours of intense action is spread out tantalisingly before the drivers and teams between now and June 2020.

Silverstone is bathed in warm late summer sunshine on Sunday morning as the queues already started to form for the popular autograph session and pit walk.

The pre-grid atmosphere will start to build at 11h10 as the pits close and the green flag drops at 12h00 local time.
