“We have a third car of course here so it is a big effort for Porsche and it obviously takes some extra efforts from the engineers. But I am looking forward to seeing how the #19 car gets on here. It is another competitor but also another way we can share data together and gain a lot of knowledge.
Spa should suit us a little bit better than Silverstone and it will be very interesting to see what the others can do here as well. We have to focus on the job we do and look forward to hopefully a great weekend here at Spa.”
Pipo Derani – G-Drive Racing
“We are very optimistic, but we know it will be a difficult round because the other competitors certainly evolved their performance after the race in Silverstone. Although the team had made the 1-2 in the first round, we do not underestimate anyone. Spa is a different track to Silverstone and this can bring some benefit to other teams. We know that our car is good, but here is a mix of fast corners and straights, so let's see how our rivals will be in this race. But surely, doing a good job, we will have good chances to fight for another good result.”

“Eau Rouge is one of the greatest thrills on the calendar. No matter how many times you take that turn, it still – quite literally – takes your breath away. So Spa is a pleasure to visit just for that corner alone, and then the rest is just a bonus. I’ve had good runs at the circuit the last two years; finishing second in GTE-AM last year and second in LMP2 in 2013. So hopefully we can do it one better this time in our brand-spanking new Ligiers and regain some of the points terrain lost at Silverstone. If in doubt, go flat!"

“Spa is a real driver’s circuit, one of my favourites,” says Watts. “It’s worth the trip just for the experience of driving up Eau Rouge and Raidillon, but overall it’s just a mega event. For most teams, it’s the dress rehearsal for Le Mans, and understandably so; it’s a tough race on a tough circuit, the last chance to prove to everyone you mean business before focusing on the big one at La Sarthe.
