
The poster for the 2015 edtion of the 6 Hours of Silverstone has been revealed. The event, which takes place on the 10-12 April, is the opening round of the 2015 World Endurance Championship.
It will also be the first WEC event to feature four manufacturers going head-to-head in LMP1, with the race debut of the Nissan GT-R LM NISMO. The Japanese manufacturer will be taking on the might of world champions Toyota, Le Mans winners Audi and WEC race winners Porsche for the 110-year-old Royal Automobile Club Tourist Trophy.
In LMGTE world champions Ferrari will be defending their hard won title against Aston Martin and Porsche once again, while in LMP2 ten cars representing six different manufacturers are due to line up on the grid.
Also on the race schedule is the opening round of the 2015 European Le Mans Series and three races by the FIA F3 European Championship.
STAR NAMES: There are over 200 drivers taking part in the event taking part in the weekend at Silverstone include Mark Webber, Patrick Dempsey and British Olympic gold medalist Sir Chris Hoy, who is making his ELMS debut.
TICKETS: Tickets are now on sale for the 6 Hours of Silverstone with prices from £10 to £35 per day, while a 3-day weekend pass costs just £40.
