A feast of Bahraini entertainment to enjoy at the 6 Hours of Bahrain
28/11/2013

Aside from all the fast and furious on-track action leading up to, and including the 6 Hours of Bahrain, a full programme of entertainment off-track has been put together by the team at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC).

Headlining the mix of music, children’s entertainment and interactive games, will be Indian Bollywood singing star, Sonu Nigam, who will be performing live at the Sakhir circuit on Saturday, 30th November.   The two-hour concert will take place at the event’s main entertainment area located behind BIC’s Main Grandstand and will start at 7:00 pm.

On Friday, 29th there will be a programme of music and dance starting at 10:00 am and finishing at 5:30 pm.  On the main stage there will be regular performances from local bands The Awesome People, Alderon, Legendz and Wine Gumz, while children will be able to enjoy entertainment on a separate stage from shows such as The Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppins and Hairspray.  Also available for fans on Friday 29th will be a four-hour set from internationally renowned DJ John Revox, beginning at 6:00 pm.

The following day, race day, will include live music and entertainment performances on both stages, running from 10:00 am until 5:30 pm.  Also available throughout both days will be a market showcasing the very best of Bahraini crafts and products.  A dazzling firework display will round off the evening, timed to start just as the race finishes.

All those with tickets to the two-day racing spectacle will be able to watch the concert live.  Tickets to the 6 Hours of Bahrain cost BD20 for adults for the entire weekend, while children aged 3-12 years old can get in for BD10. Anybody who has yet to purchase their tickets is urged to do so via the circuit’s website www.bahraingp.com or at the BIC Welcome Centre located at the Sakhir circuit’s entrance.
