One of the most memorable qualifying sessions in the history of the FIA World Endurance Championship saw Audi claim a hard-earned 1-2 for tomorrow’s fourth round at the Nürburgring.

The damp but drying conditions saw action all the way as tyre and driver strategy kept the crowd entertained throughout the twenty minute sessions for LMP and LMGTE cars.

  • Andre Lotterer and Marcel Fassler take pole position in No.7 Audi R18 with combined average of 1m39.444s
  • Audi 1-2 as No.8 car driven by Jarvis and Di Grassi qualifies just 0.266s behind No.7 car despite late session spin
  • No.1 Porsche 919 Hybrid driven by Mark Webber and Timo Bernhard third quickest

  • Toyota TS 050 HYBRIDS start fifth and sixth with No.6 heading No.5 car
