AudiAudi Top First Session at Le Mans
The no3 Audi Sport Team Joest Audi R18 e-tron quattro topped out the time sheet in the first test session with a 3m23.799, two seconds quicker than the no8 Toyota Racing Toyota TS040-Hybrid in second spot, which was the leading FIA WEC entered car, and another three tenths ahead of the no20 Porsche Team Porsche 919 Hybrid.
The four hour session saw the reigning LMP2 European Le Mans Series champions Signatech Alpine head the class ahead of three other ELMS competitors with the leading WEC LMP2 car, the no47 KCMG Oreca-Nissan in 5th, 1.7 seconds behind the Alpine-Nissan.

Reigning champions AF Corse were the best of the LMGTE Pro class, with the no51 Ferrari 458 Italia posting a time of 3m57.982, 0.6 seconds ahead of the no52 Ram Racing Ferrari and at least 1.3 seconds ahead of the two factory Corvettes.
AF Corse also headed the LMGTE Am timesheets with the no60 Ferrari splitting the two Pro class Corvettes with a time of 3m59.296, 1.1 seconds ahead of the no81 AF Corse Ferrari, which was the leading WEC entered car in the class.
The second four hour session is due to get underway at 14:00 (Local).
