Roman Rusinov - no26 G-Drive Racing Ligier-Nissan: “It will be a close race again this weekend but we have had a very good start. I like this circuit, it has a lot of challenges and the Ligier-Nissan has been responding well to changes we have been making. I am really looking forward to fighting the KCMG, SMP and OAK cars in qualifying and the race tomorrow.”
Anthony Davidson - no8 Toyota TS040 Hybrid: “We are working through our programme well and the performance improved in the last session. Yesterday was all about getting back in to the groove of the Fuji circuit after the wash-out last year. We head in to the qualifying sessions in confident mood.”
Alex MacDowall - no99 Aston Martin Racing Vantage V8: “Fernando (Rees) did a good time and we look to be in good shape despite not being the fastest on the straight. I think if we maintain this then we can be in a good position to get the podium which I think we, as a team, deserve.”
