A weekend of action-packed family entertainment will be on offer for everyone visiting the 6 Hours of Nürburgring, the fourth round of the 2016 FIA World Endurance Championship which will take place between 22-24 July.
Not only will be the action on the race track be ‘red hot’ and non-stop during the weekend, but there will also be plenty of exciting and fun off-track entertainment available for the whole family.
This will be the first race since the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June which saw Porsche claiming a dramatic overall victory, and Ford taking the win in LMGTE Pro on its return to top international sportscar racing.
As well as a star-studded WEC grid of 33 cars there will be nine German drivers vying for ‘home’ glory including André Lotterer, Timo Bernhard, Nick Heidfeld and Stefan Mücke, plus manufacturer entries from Audi, Porsche, Toyota, Ferrari, Ford and Aston Martin. The weekend will also see track action from the historic series, Nürburgring Legends, and the Porsche Super Sports Cup, making it a real festival of great sportscar action.
In addition to open paddocks, a pit walk and autograph session, there is a full weekend of entertainment on offer with plenty to keep all the family amused and enthralled during Saturday and Sunday:
