Ferrari’s Gianmaria Bruni and Giancarlo Fisichella are two of the six drivers challenging this weekend to win the first World Endurance Cup for GT drivers – one of five FIA World Endurance Championship titles to be decided at the 6 Hours of Bahrain.

The two LMGTE Pro AF Corse drivers are currently 5.5 points behind Darren Turner and Stefan Mucke in the Drivers’ classification, and know that the best result possible is needed in the race to boost their chances of championship success.

In order to achieve this, AF Corse and Ferrari has changed its driver pairings for the 6 Hours of Bahrain and Bruni (ITA) will be driving the No.51 Ferrari 458 Italia with Toni Vilander (FIN).  Fisichella (ITA) will be at the wheel of the No.71 AF Corse entry with Kamui Kobayashi (JAP).

In the GT Manufactures standings, Ferrari currently holds second position with 215 points, 17.5 behind Aston Martin. AF Corse is second in the GTE Pro Teams’ classification on 120 points (8.5 behind Aston Martin Racing’s No.97) and the battle for supremacy is sure to be intense and hard-fought.
