Good luck to our WEC teams and drivers at Daytona!

The IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship gets underway this weekend with the iconic Rolex 24 at Daytona with over 30 FIA WEC drivers in attendance.

In the headline GTP category, no less than ten WEC drivers will be competing for outright victory including Toyota Gazoo Racing’s Brendon Hartley who will be racing under the Wayne Taylor Racing Andretti banner. Porsche Penske has two 963s competing with Kevin Estre, Laurens Vanthoor and new WEC recruit for 2024, Matt Campbell.

Also represented in GTP will be the Cadillac V.Series R and the BMW M Hybrid V8, the latter due to makes its highly-anticipated WEC debut in Qatar next month.

Elsewhere, the WEC’s LMGT3 drivers are well represented with the likes of the Iron Dames piloting the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo2 in the GT Daytona class. Several of the new LMGT3 machinery that is joining WEC this year will also be in action at Daytona including the Corvette Z06 GT3.R, Lexus RC F GT3, Ferrari 296 LMGT3, Aston Martin Vantage GT3, Ford Mustang GT3, McLaren 720S GT3, Porsche 911 GT3 R and BMW M4 GT3.
