A special event was held today for the Japanese media attending for the 24 Heures du Mans to promote the second 6 Hours of Fuji, which will be held on the 20 October 2013.
Attending the press event was Mr. Tsutsumi, President of Fuji International Speedway, Gerard Neveu, CEO of the FIA World Endurance Championship and the three Japanese drivers taking part in the 2013 FIA WEC - Kazuki Nakajima (Toyota), Kamui Kobayashi (AF Corse Ferrari) and Keiko Ihara (Gulf Racing Middle East).
The 2012 6 Hours of Fuji was one of the highlights of the first season of the FIA WEC and was attending by over 40,000 Japanese fans. The plan is to exceed this attendance figure in 2013 and have a bigger and better event in Japan this October.
