Keeping up the racing miles between WEC seasons

Keeping up the racing miles between WEC seasons
11/12/2015

The FIA WEC season may be over but many drivers – especially those representing manufacturers – are still hard at work behind the wheel.

Keeping themselves sharp for the 2016 WEC season by competing in two separate endurance events this weekend, the Gulf 12 Hours in Abu Dhabi and Sepang 12 Hours, are many familiar names from the paddock.

These include Pierre Kaffer and Davide Rigon who will be racing Ferrari 458s in the Gulf together with Khaled Al Qubaisi, who is entered by local favourites Abu Dhabi Racing Black Falcon, and Aston Martin Racing’s Darren Turner and Jonny Adam.

In the heat of Malaysia this weekend will be Ferrari’s Gianmaria Bruni and James Calado who, with former ELMS GTE champion Matt Griffin, are strong contenders for victory in their F458 against a multi-national field.

Good luck and safe racing to all.
