FIA World Endurance Champions to be inducted into the Hall of Fame

A total of 29 different FIA World Endurance Champions will be inducted into the FIA Hall of Fame at a glittering ceremony, which will be held at the Automobile Club de France in Paris this evening (2 December).

The FIA Hall of Fame is a celebration of nearly 40 years of outstanding achievements in the field of endurance racing - a discipline that relies on courage, passion and teamwork.  

Four championship winning cars from the different eras being celebrated will be on display at the ceremony.   The 1983 Porsche 956, the 1992 Peugeot 905 Evo 1 Bis, the 2013 Audi R18 e-tron quattro and the 2018 Toyota TS050 Hybrid.

FIA President Jean Todt said, commented: “Endurance racing occupies a special place in the history of motorsport as well as in my heart, and the legendary 24 hours of Le Mans is a major event on the WEC calendar.”
