Team Felbermayr-Proton

The maiden season of the World Endurance Championship (WEC) concluded with a double podium for the Porsche pilots. At the six hour race on the Shanghai International Circuit, Porsche factory drivers Marc Lieb (Germany) and Richard Lietz (Austria) scored second place in the GTE Pro class at the wheel of the Porsche 911 GT3 RSR fielded by the Felbermayr-Proton team. Christian Ried (Germany) and his Italian teammates Paolo Ruberti and Gianluca Roda also clinched second in the GTE Am class with the 911 GT3 RSR from last year. With this, Felbermayr-Proton secured vice-championship honours in the FIA Endurance Trophy.

Aston Martin Racing

Aston Martin Racing has won the final round of the 2012 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), the Six Hours of Shanghai, to finish second in the highly competitive GTE Pro championship standings. The team’s maiden WEC race win tops off a superb run of six consecutive podium finishes to prove the pace and reliability of the V8-powered Vantage GTE.

Krohn Racing

The Krohn Racing Team celebrated another podium finish today in the World Endurance Championship GTE-Am class at the 6 Hours of Shanghai race, their fifth podium in eight races this season. The No. 57 Krohn Racing Ferrari scored a third-place finish today at Shanghai International Circuit, as they had previously at Le Mans, Silverstone and Bahrain. They earned a second-place at the penultimate race at the 6 Hours of Fuji earlier this month.
