A quick catch up with championship leader and 2013 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Loïc Duval as he prepares for the next round of the FIA World Endurance Championship in Sao Paulo in just over two weeks time.
1) How have you kept race fit during the summer?
"I still race in Japan in Super Formula and have done two races since Le Mans so this is definitely the best training I could have done to stay fit for the next round in Brazil. Additionally I am still cycling a lot and exercising in the summer weather."
2) Which track are you most looking forward to racing at in the second half of the WEC season?
"I have done a lot of my career in Japan, like my Audi team-mate André [Lotterer], so I am really looking forward in going to Fuji and to get the support from our Japanese fans."
3) With five races on three continents in the next few months, how do you cope with the travelling and jet lag?
"Jet lag is part of our job. I have had to learn to cope with this factor for many years now traveling all around the world. But I am really lucky because I can sleep anywhere at anytime so it's not a big issue for me at all."
4) What is the best thing about racing in Sao Paulo?
"Just going to Brazil! It will be my first time in that country and I'm excited to see it. So it'll be a new track for me which I heard from many racing drivers is fantastic. I'm certain that my Brazilian Audi Sport team-mate Lucas di Grassi will give me some good advice on the track and what to see in Sao Paulo."
