Rebellion Racing enters second car for Spa and Le Mans

Swiss-based LMP1 team Rebellion Racing will enter a second Rebellion R13 Gibson LMP1 car for the final two rounds of the FIA WEC season - the TOTAL 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The crew of the second Rebellion No. 3 car will be made up of Nathanaël Berthon, Louis Delétraz and three-time Le Mans winner, Romain Dumas.   Delétraz, a FIA Formula 2 driver, got his first taste of LMP1 machinery at the Bahrain Rookie Test in December when he took to the wheel of the Rebellion R13 car.

Regular trio Bruno Senna, Gustavo Menezes and Norman Nato will drive the sister No. 1 Rebellion car, which triumphed at the 4 Hours of Shanghai back in November.

Delétraz commented: “Endurance is a discipline that I really like - I could not dream to start in better conditions in LMP1 and in the WEC. Rebellion is one of the best teams in the world, it is a pride to participate in my first 24 Hours of Le Mans as a Swiss driver in a Swiss team. This is a big challenge that I am delighted to take up with Romain, Nathanaël and the whole team.”
