Toyota Gazoo Racing confirms WEC rookie test line-up
Toyota Gazoo Racing has added Thomas Laurent and Kenta Yamashita to its line-up for the FIA WEC rookie test, which will take place in Bahrain on Sunday 15 December.
Laurent is the team’s test and reserve driver and currently drives in LMP2 with Signatech Alpine Elf. Yamashita is a member of Toyota’s young driver programme, and competes in LMP2 with High Class Racing.
The participation in a Toyota of FIA Formula 2 champion and regular Racing Team Nederland LMP2 driver, Nyck de Vries, was confirmed last month by the WEC.
The provisional WEC rookie test entry list will be revealed next week.
