SMP Racing last night presented its magnificent BR01 challenger at the prestigious Automobile Club de Monaco. Among the guests of team founder Boris Rotenberg were WEC CEO Gérard Neveu and President of the Automobile Club de Monaco Michel Boéri.
The Russian team will enter two of its LMP2 cars in the 2016 FIA World Endurance Championship with former F1 star Vitaly Petrov making his WEC debut among an experienced and successful line up.
SMP Racing will also have two entries in the WEC’s sister European Le Mans Series, with Monégasque driver Stefano Coletti among the drivers.
