The FIA World Motor Sport Council approves the 2019-2020 WEC calendar

The FIA World Motor Sport Council convened for a meeting in Paris on Friday 12 October, and approved the calendar for the 2019-2020 World Endurance Championship (WEC) season.



The World Motor Sport Council went on to discuss the regulations set to go into effect from September 2020 that will see the top class of competitors dedicated to "hypercar" prototypes. An estimate of the necessary budget was presented.
