As it did in the streets of London shortly before the first race of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) season at Silverstone, on Wednesday the Ford GT will hit the streets of Paris in a see-through trailer. Just under two weeks away from the 84th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Ford GT will follow a route mapping out the Circuit des 24 Heures track.
In the race on the 18/19th June Ford will go up against Ferrari – as it did in the 1960s – in the LMGTE Pro category, but in 2016 will also face Aston Martin, Porsche and its American compatriots from Chevrolet Corvette. Ford will have strength in numbers with four cars, sporting the numbers (66 to 69) of the years of its four consecutive overall victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
