Updates to entry list for Bapco 6 Hours of Bahrain

An updated version for the upcoming 6 Bapco 6 Hours of Bahrain – round five of FIA WEC – has today been revealed.

It was announced earlier today that Polish F1 star Robert Kubica will compete with Danish LMP2 team High Class Racing, replacing Jan Magnussen for Bahrain. Read more HERE.

However, there are several other changes to the entry list including the addition of Katherine Legge who will replace Michelle Gatting in the No. 85 Iron Lynx Ferrari 488 GTE Evo.

Legge raced at the WEC season-opener at Spa-Francorchamps but other race commitments have meant she has been unable to compete in further events with the all-female squad.

Elsewhere, the No. 88 Dempsey Proton Racing car has named its trio of drivers which includes UAE driver Khaled Al Quibaisi, Belgium’s Adrien De Lenner and France’s Julien Andlauer.

Slovakian LMP2 team ARC Bratislava have also confirmed that India’s Kush Maini will join the team for Bahrain. At 21-years-old, Maini has competed in British F3 and is a relative newcomer to the world of endurance racing.

Another notable change to the entry list is that Tatiana Calderon will no longer be in Bahrain, leaving driving duties solely to her teammates Sophia Floersch and Beitske Visser.

The Bapco 6 Hours of Bahrain will take place on Saturday 30 October and the WEC season-finale - the 8 Hours of Bahrain - will be staged the following weekend (Saturday 6 November).
