Warm Up: Final preparations for the 6 Hours of Fuji

To no one’s great surprise it was the No.7 Toyota Racing TS030 Hybrid which topped the time sheets at the conclusion of the 20 minute warm up.  The session, which ran under cloudy skies, was uninterrupted with drivers for the most part carrying out final technical checks prior to the start of the 6 Hours of Fuji, the green flag for which will be given at 1100 hours.

The FIA World Endurance Championship competitors, including the No.24 OAK Racing Morgan-Judd which was fastest in LMP2, rapidly handed over the track to the young wolves from Japanese F3 and then took up their places at the front of their pit boxes for the traditional autograph session.  This should exceed all expectations if yesterday’s first pit-walk is anything to go by.
